CARE TIPS 

Always wash white laundry separately, separate light from dark colors.

You can wash cotton up to 60°, all other materials in the 30-40° delicate wash cycle. Also, pay attention to the care instructions on your laundry items. Explanations of the symbols can be found, for example, on Wikipedia. For particularly delicate items, such as those made of tulle, a laundry bag is recommended.

Sunscreen or sun oils are poison for your Swimsuit. They attack the elastane and make the Swimsuit "brittle". Our tip: Rinse the Swimsuit well after each swim; this way it stays beautiful and you will enjoy it for a long time.

 

BRIEF MATERIAL GUIDE 

NATURAL FIBERS

COTTON

Light and pleasantly cool material for everyday laundry, especially for classic slips and shirts. Cotton is often processed today in combination with synthetic fibers.

 

MODAL

The cellulose fiber based on beech and spruce wood is an advancement of viscose. It is wrinkle-resistant, dimensionally stable, and dries quickly.

 

SILK

The luxury fiber, extremely light and pleasant on the skin, yet extremely warming. It is particularly suitable for sensitive and allergy-prone skin.

 

VISCOSE

Based on beech or spruce wood or cotton, Viscose is made from regenerated cellulose. The fabrics are particularly soft and flowing.

 

LYOCELL

Lyocell is an industrially manufactured fiber made from cellulose. Also known as Tencel fibers, they have high dry and wet strength, are soft, and absorb moisture very well. Textiles made from it have a smooth and cool feel with a flowing drape, have low wrinkle tendency, and can be washed and dry-cleaned.

 

SYNTHETIC FIBERS

There has been enormous development in synthetic fibers in recent years. They are easy to care for and comfortable to wear, keep the body dry, and do not smell.  Modern high-tech fibers feel soft today, are skin-friendly, and breathable. They consist of millions of microfine fibers to form a fine yet robust fabric.

 

ELASTANE

This synthetic elastic fiber, combined with other materials, ensures a perfect fit and good wear. For Swimwear, for example, an elastane content of up to 30% is used.

 

LYCRA

Lycra is the trademarked name for DuPont's elastane fiber. Its properties correspond to those of elastane.

 

POLYAMIDE

This lightweight and extremely durable synthetic fiber is particularly suitable for laundry worn directly on the skin. Polyamide also quickly transports moisture away from the body to the surface.

 

POLYESTER

The most popular synthetic fiber for underwear. Polyester is extremely tear and abrasion-resistant, yet comfortable to wear and breathable. Additionally, the material is very easy to care for.
