Comments, Reviews, Feedback

When visitors write comments, reviews, or feedback in the webshop, we collect the data that is collected and displayed via the corresponding forms, as well as the visitor's IP address and the user-agent-String (this identifies the browser) to support spam detection.

An anonymized string (also called a hash) can be created from your email address and provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. You can find the Gravatar service's privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.

 

Media

If you are a registered user (shop user with login) and upload photos to our webshop (e.g., for a product review), you should avoid uploading photos with an EXIF-GPS location. Visitors to this webshop could download and extract location information from photos stored on this platform.

 

Cookies

If you write a comment, review, or feedback on our webshop, it may be a consent to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is a convenience feature so that you do not have to re-enter all this data when you write another post. These cookies are stored for at least one year.

If you have a Account and log in to the webshop, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set up some cookies to save your login information and display options. We do not store login cookies permanently, and cookies for display options expire after at least one year.

 

Embedded content from other websites

Posts on this webshop may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, posts, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking services, and record your interaction with this embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have a Account and are logged in to that website.

 

With whom we share your data

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

 

How long we retain your data

If you write a post (comment, review, feedback, etc.), it will be stored indefinitely, including metadata. This way, we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register for our webshop, we additionally store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, modify, or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Shop administrators can also view and modify this information.

 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an Account on this webshop or have written contributions, you can request an export of your personal data from us, including all data you have provided to us. Additionally, you can request the deletion of all personal data we have stored about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
